Ed Holmes has a BS in Mathematics from the University of Washington, an MS in Computing Systems from City University of Seattle, and a Master’s Certificate in Project Management from The Stevens Institute.  He worked as an IT professional for The Boeing Company for 35 years, retiring as a senior manager in Corporate IT.   Much of his career focused on developing and supporting large, highly integrated software systems using internal staff, subcontractors, and software systems vendors.  Ed’s final position was as the IT leader for two major divisions of Boeing Commercial Airplanes.   He was responsible for delivering and ensuring the quality and security of all IT services to over 10,000 employees.  Ed now serves as a Planning Commissioner for the City of Covington, Washington.  He is also a small town historian, a biographer, and a full time personal assistant to a Golden Retriever, Molly Sue.  He and his wife Colleen enjoy summers entertaining Molly Sue at their rustic cabin on Puget Sound.
