The cost to implement Standard 12207 in an organization will depend on the organization's level of software engineering process maturity, (sophistication), the number of tasks to be implemented, schedule constraints, size and number of sites of the organization. The first two factors will be the major cost drivers. For the purposes of the chart shown below.
